Fear Blinds Us

7/29/2014

At one level, the “I want to be safe” feeling drives so much of the violence in the world. Dominate, degrade, even kill those who we believe can hurt us is, within many cultures, felt to be a justified way of ensuring safety.

Fear blinds us sometimes so fully that we cannot even see how absurd it is to actually believe violence will make us safer. That belief does not make any sense on any level                                                                whatsoever.

May we all somehow wake up to the absurdity of our beliefs and realize that our essence is thankfully not at the level of the body or appearances. When safety of the body is no longer in the forefront, then the possibility opens to discover that which is universal.

Living to simply keep the body safe is not really living.

The Pure Witness

As we allow thoughts and feelings to be without interference or personalization the opportunity opens for us to sense into our true nature.

As the witness the deepest intention is not in allowing thoughts and feelings to pass freely – it is in discovering and sensing truth or that which is universal.

When thoughts and feelings are allowed to remain in their natural state the universality of our true nature comes into focus.

As the witness, there is the opportunity to notice if there is actually anything now lacking – this is the noticing of whether our true nature is limited and separate or universal.

Consciously rest as That which is without lack and gradually even the separate seeming witness dissolves - there is only the Witness 'witnessing' itself.

May We All Dance Our Dance - Fully

Those that pointed me in the right direction are so diverse in their expression –
yet I find such beauty and joy in them all.

Thank you, dear Teachers,
for dancing the dance fully.

For a time some of us may dance
a bit off balance or with some hesitation -
but as long as we continue to relax
into the dance of the whole rather than
be fascinated by this part
icular expression then this infinite Love
reveals and expresses itself more fully

What an amazing adventure this all is -
the adventure of Now.

It is all very simple. Instead of seeing things imagined, learn to see them as they are. When you can see everything as it is, you will also see yourself as you are. It is like cleansing a mirror. The same mirror that shows you the world as it is, will also show you your own face."
      Sri Nisargadatta     Maharaj

      Einstein said,
    "No problem can be solved
      from the same
       level of consciousness
           that created it."

    To see new solutions
       we must see differently.
