Is Our Love Dependent On Others Agreeing With Us?

10/19/2020

"If you wish to find Love,
don't look for the object of love
but for the Source of love."
- Mooji
Sometimes when others don't agree with us we feel disconnected from them.

When family members or friends - or even politicians - disagree with us we sometimes take it personally and then feel as if they are outside of our love. We forget the Source of Love that excludes nothing.

I see this time of great division 'out there in the world' as a wonderful opportunity for us all to see beyond any division within that comes up as we watch the news, listen to our friends and family members express different views then our own, or shop with strangers who may disagree with our own mask wearing or maskless behavior.

World peace begins with each of us as we take responsibility to 'look again' whenever we feel disconnected from anyone or anything.

If our love is dependent on others seeing things our way or doing the things we do then our love is conditional - it's too narrow to reveal the magnificence of the Love of Source.

When we are open,
one breath -
just one conscious breath -
can reveal the Source of Love
that excludes nothing.

What Are Universal Principles and Why Do They Matter Anyway?

In the article linked below, I'm exploring ways to share facets of our true nature, such as honesty, openness, compassion, with those who may be more politically rather than spiritually inclined.

I find it amazing - and hopeful - to see that when people become more honest, open and compassionate in any area of life (such as the area of politics or parenting which are addressed in the article) so much more frees up - and can become possible to discover - within them.

What Are Universal Principles and Why Do They Matter Anyway?

It is all very simple. Instead of seeing things imagined, learn to see them as they are. When you can see everything as it is, you will also see yourself as you are. It is like cleansing a mirror. The same mirror that shows you the world as it is, will also show you your own face."
      Sri Nisargadatta     Maharaj

      Einstein said,
    "No problem can be solved
      from the same
       level of consciousness
           that created it."

    To see new solutions
       we must see differently.
