When we don’t know our natural state of well-being we feel that either we, others or life need to be fixed and nothing anyone says can convince us otherwise. And although it is important to trust our own experience - what if our way of viewing our experience is somehow skewed in an unnatural way and we don’t even realize that?
Maybe the feeling that something needs to be fixed is not an indication that something actual needs to be fixed – but is only an indication that our way of now seeing or perceiving needs to be ‘fixed’. Maybe it is only the way we are now perceiving that is creating the impression that something needs to be fixed.
So if we don’t investigate which way it is we can go on ‘trusting our experience’ not even realizing that we are trusting what is not actual.
