Whenever I see acts of violence such as what recently happened to George Floyd, I feel such sadness not only for the one on the receiving end but for those perpetrating the violence. My heart goes out to them both - to George Floyd and to the police officer who kept his knee on George’s neck while ignoring his ‘I can’t breathe’ pleas. How utterly shut off from his true sense of Self that officer must be. It's such a hellish experience to live feeling cut off from our natural true sense of peace and love. Yesterday I watched this video from the spiritual teacher Mooji about not only the death of George Floyd but the real possibility we have to go beyond our egoic sense of self. There is no other way for us to live together in peace and love until we ourself know the peace and love that is unconditional. If anything - or anyone at all - confuses us out of this peace and love then that is an invitation for us to look more deeply. World peace is the ripple - We are the Source...

It is all very simple. Instead of seeing things imagined, learn to see them as they are. When you can see everything as it is, you will also see yourself as you are. It is like cleansing a mirror. The same mirror that shows you the world as it is, will also show you your own face."
